_Born in Gisenyi by the lake Kivu in Rwanda, Ben Kayirana grew up listening to traditional songs, the Ingoma drums and the sound of the Inanga, the distinctive guitar of the country of thousands of hills. Settlled in France since the age of 17,Ben defends a musical genre at the crossroad between Rwandan tradition and pop music thanks to many interesting musical encounters and the experience of two albums.
