Since February 2006, Behold The Rolling Thunder has been shaking the Seattle music scene with their unique blend of metal and progressive dispositions. Their laundry list of influences ranges from See You next Tuesday to Destroyer Destroyer, Converge smashing Fear Before, mewithoutYou pedal dancing with Russian Circles, and the almighty The Mars Volta.

For over two years BTRT has shared the stage with some of the best acts including but not limited to:

See You Next Tuesday

Heavy Heavy Low low

The Fall of Troy

Thriller

The Orangeburg Massacre

Don The Reader

Me and Him call it us

Sender Receiver

The Jonbenet

Blues

the list goes on.

Behold The Rolling Thunder strive to bring something new to the already overly saturated table covered in the break-downs and blast-beats of cliché metal-core, ushering in a new era of post-hardcore music. Believing that today more than ever, music is limited by genre, but also that there is hope in this realization. BTRT isn’t about who can be the most “brutal” or who can down tune their guitars the lowest, they’re about passion, and it flows out of every facet of their lives and music. From the lyrics they write to their presence on stage, the burning passion that BTRT is will challenge what the masses see and believe about music today.

Dear friends,

This is a hard message to write. First of off, we love you. We love every one of you who has love and supported us. You've given us the best of the world we could only have dreamed of. We've cried out with you, you've been drenched in sweat with us, you've even bled with us. We couldn't have made it as far as we have with out you. We can't thank you enough for being a part of this. By now, you know exactly what this is about. We're breaking up. Our last show will be on April 10th, 2009 at Ground Zero with Loom. It's been a good 3 years, friends. But there comes a time when the musical vessel you started can no longer keep the passion it has given you in the past. This end is mutual and in good terms, we're all still the best of friends and all of us have new musical projects in the works. Ryan and Alex's band Beware Of The Sea is about to release an album, so check that out first. We all plan on collaborating on various levels with various members on projects that inspire us to progress further with music. Look on the bright side, you're going to have 4 or so favorite bands instead of just 1. ;-) Look out for us, we have a lot of new and exciting things on the way. Again, thank you so much for everything you've given us. It's been an amazing run. We hope to see you all living and loving with us again. The stages we stand on are yours, you're just gracious enough to share it with us for a night.

Special thanks go out to.
