Before Eden

Formed in 1998. Before Eden is a metal band with its main influences from Progressive Metal.----->



Current line up: Jaison Peixer(Vocal); Marcus Adonai (Guittar), Juliano Scharf (Keyboard); Leandro Nunes(Bass) and Julio Cesar(Drums).



In 2001 they released their first album, self titled with 7 songs.Hailed as unique it was not long before the group was taken notice of by several music sites and magazines. Shortly after the album's release they signed with the Brazillion record company Hellion Records.



In 2003 as a preview to their next album, the band release an EP which consisted of 3 demos songs which again recieved much praise by critics. The favorable critics were a direct result of the band's essence: a rich harmony, introducing creativity and their own personality into the foundation of progressive metal. They bring characteristics of musical styles, giving more emphasis to the heavies than usual, shown by riffs and powerful guitar support.



Releasing their full length CD "The Legacy of Gaia" in 2005, the group strived to constantly evolve in thier lyrical and musical styles.Between 2004 - 2005 they independantly recorded and produced in their own studio and upon release received great reviews from national and international media recieiving a scores of between 8 and 10 on reviews.
Their songs don't tell of far away lands or dubious fictional stories, but it questions human behaviour, continuously destroying natural resources to satisfy and feed their unbeareable greediness, guiding us to lose all self control and self respect, in order to gain respect of peers and power.
Received greatly while touring through out the country, their concerts have earned the the award of Best of the Year in Brazillian magazines. Other award inculde fourth in the catagory of National Revelation, Rock Brigade hailed the keyboardist and best Brazillian Keyboardist. The band in whole was ranked Nineth for the best overall Natiolnal Band, Nineth best keyboardist and Eighth best Brazillian album of 2005 from Roadie Crew.
Endeavoring contantly for a unique and powerful sound, with good results in studio tests, positive critiques about live performances and the support of the public, Before Eden will continue down the musical journey they have begun with the same force and ability they have already demonstrated.
