BEAT BANDITS (Beat Bandit Production)



We are the "Beat Bandits", an urban collective consisting of 13 members, we are a young (with an age range varying from 14yrs to 23yrs), up and coming group representing Sheffield city.

Our collective comprises of 2 producers/DJ (Swizla, Breezey), 2 vocalists (Rosie, Bexual), 8 MC's (Alibi, Nassa, LJ, Blaze, Skitzaboy, Medley, Torment, Roadrunner) and a DJ (Rekon).



Beat Bandits produce, music influenced by many genres. Particularly Grime, Dubstep, 4x4, HipHop and RnG.

We have just released our debut album "Out In The Stix" consisting of 22 home produced tracks featuring the full Beat Bandit collective and some of Sheffield's finest artists and producers. "Out In The Stix" is currently available at HMV in Sheffield, all good independent record stores across Sheffield and direct from our Myspace through Paypal.

We have also had Bassline (4x4) tracks played in clubs across the UK, and featured twice on monthly CD's by DJ Nev Write (Nocturnal/Niche).

Beat Bandits have performed at many venues in Sheffield including: Corporation, Club Uniq, Sheffield Student Union, West Street Live and The City Hall. We have also featured on DVD's and played at festivals.

Beat Bandits most recent achievement has been winning the finals of the "Raw Talent Urban Growth Tour 08". Held at Sheffields City Hall. We competed against 11 acts from around the UK and won the over 18's category and the title of overall winners by performing a cover of Eminem and Dr Dre's "Guilty Conscience" which included actors and tackles the issues of drugs, sex and guns.

Beat Bandits originated with 3 members (Swizla, Alibi and Nassa) in 2004 and have grown into a 12 strong fully functional urban movement, who have cemented their name in the Sheffield scene and are looking to take the UK by storm!
