During the mid-80’s marked the Era of the infamous invasion of crack cocaine in the U.S. It also marks a revolutionary change to the Hip-Hop community. Hip-Hop’s sound took a drastic twist! The state of Hip-Hop would NEVER be the same again….

Fast-forwarding to the year 2007 comes along a super-group consisting of members Crack, C.O., and Double E., bringing back the retro 80’s sound, blending with a breath of fresh new school air… Introducing the B BOYS!!!

“Dress n’ For Easter”, the lead single off of their album debut titled We Had 2 Do It, is VERY reminiscent of the late 80’s/early 90’s. “We brought it back to the T.T. Tucker days in New Orleans! That’s where we’re from, so we had to represent,” Double E. assures. The track, laced with the melodic thump of the 808 kick drums, was produced by none other than CRACK HIMSELF!!! Crack didn’t limit himself to just making beats on this 14 track cut album, but he’s impressively spitting on EVERY TRACK!!! Crack track’s also known for a long list of production credits in the industry such as Project Pat’s Raised N Tha Projects, Three Six Mafia’s Poppin’ My Collar (Crack tracks Remix), which feature Swiss Beatz and DMX, several tracks for the late great Soulja Slim, B.G. and Chopper City Records, and many, many more!

C.O., formerly of the southern region’s underground legends Graveyard Soldjas, makes perfect math to the B Boys. C.O.’s unique voice and swagger is like the butter on a well toasted piece of bread. C.O. is anxious to break his silence since a short run with Juvenile’s UTP Records in 2001. C.O. also has a solo debut set for release following the release of the B Boys project entitled The H.U.$.T.L.A. (The Hurricane Unable to Stop a True Life Ambassador).

Last, but not the least, Double E. is the perfect icing on the cake! Double E., most commonly known for his success on Missy Elliot’s Road to Stardom reality TV showcase, is the final addition to the group. Sex symbol to the ladies, O.G. to the hustlers in his 17th ward Hollygrove community, and a dangerous threat to ANY rapper dare to battle, Double E. laces each track with warm melodic flows and melodies without writing ONE SINGLE WORD!!! Double E. also has a solo project ready for release prior to the release of We Had 2 Do It.

Together they’re pre-destined to launch a fresh, new sound to shine a more positive to their hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. Their movement is already being felt throughout the hip-hop community across the board. Sit back, relax, and let the B Boys take you for an unforgettable ride as they take you back 2 the future… WE HAD 2 DO IT!
