When we were more than islands—more than the sum of our parts: one land, one language, one love, one name over one heart.

Well underneath it all we were at fault, the cracks began to show on our face and we began to take our cues from the running of water to the formation of lakes. We drifted apart on plates too big to name, to slow to stop. Your shore’s not on my horizon—your name’s not written on my heart.

Let’s huge this up—Bass Lions is diamonds: perfect cuts. We hard like gangsters covered in fairy dust. We got leather jackets for our brothers; we claim the spectrum as our gang colours.
