Frayser Boy (born Cedric Coleman) is an Academy Award-winning rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. He is signed to Hypnotize Minds, the label run by Three 6 Mafia members DJ Paul and Juicy J. He has released 3 albums under the Hypnotize label: Gone on That Bay (2003), Me Being Me (2005), and Da Key (2008).



At the 78th Annual Academy Awards, he, alongside Three 6 Mafia members DJ Paul and Juicy J was awarded an Academy Award for the "Best Original Song" with "It's Hard out Here for a Pimp". The song, co-written by Coleman for the Motion Picture "Hustle and Flow" was performed live at the ceremony just before it won.



In 2007 Frayser Boy started his own personal Label "B.A.R. Muzik" in which Label Founder Frayser Boy has released a mix-tape series titled "Streets Need Me" which is set to release it's 3rd album of the series in 2009. Frayser Boy also teemed up with fellow Memphis Native Criminal Manne and together released "The Take Over" which features the renown Dj Scream. This Album has gained huge attention all over the internet with the feature video "I'm Rolling".
