bare knees

in the summer of 2005 kasper was sitting on a train from stockholm to gothenburg. he'd just finished the book he was reading and the batteries had run out on his walkman. and he'd lost his favourite hat. it was pretty boring on the train so kasper started making up a song in his head. it was called 'coming/going'. when he arrived in gothenburg he went to kathrin's house and said 'hey, i wrote a song on the train, do you want to hear it?'. kathrin said 'hey, i wrote a song the other day as well, it's called 'skinny! baby' do you want to hear it?'. they listened to each other's songs and thought they were ace. kathrin said 'let's start a band. it should be called bare knees'. they spent the next few days in kathrin's bedroom. by the time they emerged, there was a there was a CD, there were 5 songs, there was a website, and there was at least one fan.
