Barbi Esco

Barbi Esco left behind her native Chile as a child, fleeing the countrys political unrest with her family who chose Sweden to build a new home and a new life. The local offerings by popular Swedish singers couldnt hold her attention, however, as much as the eclectic mélange of American chart-toppers, from Whitney to Britney, Brandy to Marc Anthony, which would eventually captivate her. Practicing her English with American cartoon shows and singing along to top-40 songs encouraged the budding multilingual songstress (she speaks English, Spanish and Swedish) to envision herself unconfined by national, linguistic and cultural borders. It was her South American roots which first spurred her musical awakening with folk songs and Latin rhythms, though her debut on U.S. shores reveals itself as her reals musical return home. Working with hot urban producers OBI & JOSH (www.obiandjosh.com), Barbi, has now built a solid base and is ready to present herself to the world. Havind toured the Scandinavian club circuit for a few years and supported acts the like of the Black Eyed Peas, Miss Esco is a seasoned performer who enjoys an opportunity to perform before an audience and to prove her skills as an entertainer.



Recently featured on "Randy Jacksons Music Club, vol. 1" with the song "My R&B" she is off to make her entry on the international scene. Look out for her in the nearest future; be a part of history in the making!!
