NE1 finished shooting first video!
Last weekend, NE1 shot their first ever video for the track "Chit Chat Junkie!
It was shot at the DRU in Ulft, a old factory, which has an amazing atmosphere.
Clothing was provided by the lovely people at Sins, Lichtenvoorde, who we hereby thank a lot
NE1 teamed up with Jesse Tuenter, Thijs Jebson and Ruben whose last name we forgot, and the guys did an amazing job
at making us look good ;)
Now they're going into the phase of editing the video, as soon as it is ready we will load it up on our site!

but just keep in mind that this is not just a national list, it's the list of ALL albums that came out in 2006 WORLDWIDE!

We rocked the Melkweg
On the 20th of october, NE1 played 2 songs during the Global Battle of the Bands, in the Melkweg in Amsterdam.
40 bands competed in 2 rounds. All bands had 2 songs, and 2 minutes to build up their gear
Ever tried setting up a drumkit, guitar, bass and a full computer in TWO BLOODY MINUTES?!?! It was kind of stressy, but we succeeded
Even though the computer wouldn't boot up in the first place, ARGH! Damn technology.
We played before a jury, who were convinced by our sound and let us compete in the finals which were held the next day!
So, the 21st of October we took another trip to Amsterdam and played again Too bad we didn't win that day, but how many bands
can say that they had their first gig in the Melkweg? We can! It was a great experience for us all, and who knows we will join again next year!

Koen releases hardcore-records on Bionic Recordings (one of Cardiac's main labels), under the name of "Archetype"!

NE1 Biography
NE1 [Enniwan]
NE1 is a new band, raised by 2 musicians with totally different musical backgrounds.
Marco van der Aar, notorious for touring the music-scene together with Jos Zoomer in their previous band, Soylent Green, teamed up and joined forces with Koen Spronk.
In posession of a record-deal with Bionic Recordings, Koen recently finished his study "Audio Design". His more electronic approach to music, and Marco's more rock-oriented flavours turned out to be a perfect mix! This is why NE1 sounds like nothing else. New, distinctive, fat!
The NE1-sound, a mixture of musicstyles old and new, can be found on "Light of Life". This album was produced by Koen and Marco, in co-operation with Dick Kemper, at the famous S&K studios. Famous for names such as Intwine, Beth Hart, Barry Hay, Vandenberg and many others, who all spent many hours recording countless hit-records!
The debut-album, "Light of Life", will hit the shops around June 2006. This release will be supported by a promotional tour throughout the whole country.
Around that time, a single will be released, and NE1 will take a shot at the playlists of the bigger radio- and tv-stations.
NE1 consists of:
