Halo Effect started in the autumn of 2001, thanks to the union of different musical experiences. The atmosphere of their music ranges from Synthpop to EBM, through Darkwave, with some more experimental passages. The intense live activity, has led them to play in various parts of Italy and abroad, sharing the stage with artists like Melotron, Covenant, Cruxshadows, Steve Naghavi (And One), De / Vision, Bloody, Dead & Sexy, Ionic Vision, and Krisma Greenhaus, resulting in an increased response at an international level. After the first 2 cd-demos “Past Continuous” and “Days of Silence” and one EP “Schwarz EP”, which have enjoyed great success with audiences and critics, Halo Effect has produced two full length CDs “New Romantic Industry” and “The Fourth Zone”, which was followed by several important remixes by international bands (like Eternal Afflict, A Spell Inside, Spektralized, Etc) who have become one of the best electro bands of the Italian and European scene. Halo Effect offer a live-act of great impact and energy. Halo Effect has also produced three video clips of the songs "Harder and Faster," "Hammer the gear" and "Life Goes On" available on Youtube. Halo Effect are currently working on songs for the new album, coming out in early 2011 with the label E/K Produkt.

Gli Halo Effect nascono nell'autunno del 2001, dall'unione di differenti esperienze musicali. Le atmosfere della loro musica variano dal synth-pop all'ebm, passando per la darkwave, il tutto arricchito da alcuni passaggi più sperimentali. L’intensa l'attività live, che li ha portati a suonare in varie parti d'Italia ed all’estero e a condividere il palco con artisti del calibro di Melotron, Covenant, Cruxshadows, Steve Naghavi (And One), De/Vision, Bloody, Dead & Sexy, Ionic Vision, Greenhaus e Krisma, ottenendo un crescente riscontro anche a livello internazionale. Dopo i primi 2 cd-demo “Past Continuous” e “Days of Silence” e un EP “Schwarz E.P.”, che hanno riscosso un ottimo successo di pubblico e critica, gli Halo Effect hanno prodotto 2 full lenght cd (New Romantic Industry e TheFourth Zone), cui sono seguiti decine di importanti remixes da parte di band internazionali (come gli Eternal Afflict, A Spell Inside, Spektralized, Etc) che li hanno definitivamente consacrati come una delle migliori band electro del panorama italiano ed europeo, in grado di proporre un live-act di grande impatto ed energia. Gli Halo Effect hanno inoltre realizzato tre videoclip dei brani “Harder and Faster”, “Hammer the gear” e “Life Goes on” disponibili su Youtube. Attualmente gli Halo Effect stanno lavorando ai brani del nuovo album, che uscirà nei primi mesi del 2011 con l’etichetta E/K Produkt.
