BaldMCreal name Nav Oojageer, began my career way back in primary school. Before getting into Hip Hop I formed a 'rap group' called the 'Green Team' along with his bestest buddy DT. Song titles inlcuded 'We say .NO SMOKE' and 'The Ozone Rap' (donti still cringe to this day).

Growing up in Essex, it was hard to fully express love for Hip Hop, as most of the kids used to hang about in town and get licked off on Diamond White or K whilst listening to whatever the latest fad was.

It was due to this, that i spent a lot of time in my room writing lyrics about all sorts of subjects.

I went to a boys school out of town, and it was here that i fell in love with Hip Hop after being introduced to acts such as 'Lords of the Underground' 'Keith Murry' 'The Pharcyde and 'Scarface' to name a few.

I began to host Hip Hop nights at the age of 16.after having jumped on the mic at a few house parties(jolly ur a legend.ur parties will never be forgotton.by me or the police)!!

At the same time I was concentrating on my basketball, having been chosen to represent both Southend and Essex, I knew it wouldnt be long before the GB team would be calling.

At the age of 19 i was chosen to play for GB then through Mr Punnanni man (Big up G-Man), i got the hook up with the pro basketball team 'The London leopards'.

I trained with the leopards whilst hosting all game dayswe were sponsored by Trouble TV and Big Ted (Chubby Kids, Kiss FM)was a regular at our games along with Sky Sports. It was working here that really gave me an insight into professional hosting/entertaining, and gave me the bug for chatting on the mic!!

I continued with my basketball and did the whole club thing on the side, working with DJ Lil Chris at most Hip Hop / RnB events in Essex. We worked along side some of the biggest names in the industry including.Trevor Nelson, Rampage, Firing Squad to name a few.

One of our residencies was 'Rewind'. (oh Rewind)

Rewind is to date the longest running Urban Club Night of its kind in the South East. With Hip Hop/RnB/Bashment/Reggae and club classics, it wasn't long before it was established as one of the hypest clubs about.

It was through Rewind and Militant in paticular, that I was given the chance to drop a few exclusive DJ sets.I guess thats where it all began!

I wanted to do the whole dj/mc/host thing full time and had to find a way to be able to do so. Through working with the leopards, I was approached by one of their fans about running some MC/DJ workshops for the local council.this combined with my basketball coaching was the way i would finally be able to dedicate myself to music.

In 2001 I lost my father and baby brother (miss u both) and was forced to find full time work, the leopards took me on full time and gave me a job on the coching side of things (Ed, Annie T, Maureen, thank you for everything).

This lasted for a couple of seasons, then the club siezed training.(theres NO money in British Basketball).

It was about the same time that i forged a really close link with one of my friends.MR Luke Biggins ( See Top Friends ). Luke has always been bit of a camera man/director, from back in the day when he used to make his own mini films, we all knew he would be destined for big things.

It was Luke who shot my first ever music video (Nav n LJ - Watch Out). CHEESEY aint the word,.but it gave us all the platform to take our work to the next level. Luke is now shooting most if not all of the Channel U vids, aswell as having had a documentary on him screened on MTV, he is now working closely with Black Twang, and All Saints to name a few.

So now u know how i got my Cameo in SWAY's Video for 'Up Ur Speed' ( Big up Sway, and the whole decypher fam.your really doing it now!!)

With no more pro basketball, I went self employed and began to run DJ/MC workshops whilst coaching Basketball. I carried on with the nightclub DJing and Hosting, and got to working with some really established artists, not just in hip hop includingWestwood, R Kelly, Usher, Ed Case, End Productions, Streetboy and Kele-le-Roc, and hosted/worked events including 'MC Kies Birthday Bash and 'The MOBO's'.

I took on a few people to work for me on both the basketball coaching side of things and the DJ side of things too,(Big up DJ Whitey.form day 1 my partner in crime), this grew to a team of about 10 core people who are with me to this day, (big u all up.ur doing a good thing). My Company was bornBALDMC.COM

This gave me a lot of time during the day to get back to writing and playing with my MPC (I'm lying, its still covered in dust). I got to messing about with a couple of tracks and made a couple of remixes.shifted about 1000 of each, was crazy sht seeing my record in HMV Oxford street.

With a bit of free time on my hands.i was able to combine my two favourite things in the form of 'The Triple Double' 3on3 Basketball Tournament.

Having run the TD for 6 years with a group of close school friends, last year the TD had grown to be the biggest 3on3 of its kind in the UK. Attracting artists including SWISS (So Solid), and BLACK TWANG, AND HOSTED BY MYSELF, The Triple Double is now truely established firmly as THE event in British Basketball!! (Big up Event Organiser J-Myersall them late nights payed off boy)

So I guess thats where we at today peops!!

Just chillin doing my thing, still working the clubs with residencies all over Essex and the South East, still doing the workshops (dam theses kids are good you know), still playing ball.but with my own team now (big up G-Man and all of the Southend Players Club).

So if you've got to the bottom of this then I guesss you know me nownice to meet you.leave a message!!

(and buy a CD DAM!!)
