‘I just want to do what I feel works in a club, so many people out there are lost and don’t see what’s coming next, that’s half of the buzz, doing what you are not supposed to do whether its in the clubs, radio or in the studio, its all about being original’



With an explosive style its hard not to listen to D&G and think ‘wow’. Cutting his way through track upon track creating that infamous energetic style.



In 2000 UK Garage promoters Pure Silk picked up on the new phenomenon that was D&G and gave them bookings in clubs such as Bagleys, Astoria, Destiny’s and Empire. This gave D&G the fundamental exposure to unleash their mixing skills onto the public.



The History---

In the summer of 2002 D&G received bookings abroad in the Greek resort of Faliraki. It was on this booking that a tragedy struck and took the life of DJ Godfather part of D&G.



DJ Don then vowed to carry on D&G as a solo act in memory of his cherished friend and musical colleague DJ Godfather.



D&G then took on a new identity and format with now only ‘D’ working twice as hard, playing twice as tight and mixing twice as fast and now becoming D&G.



In January 2003 D&G secured a regular show on the now award winning freeze fm 92.7 with good accolade from fellow DJ’s on the station and management helping them win best radio station at the 2003 Sidewinder peoples choice awards.



This summer also saw D&G go abroad for Pure Silk again this time it was Malia Crete at the Camelot Castle Club.



2004 saw D&G gain a 3rd place at the Sidewinder Peoples Choice awards in the category of ‘Best Newcomer DJ’.



2005 has seen DJ D&G come forward leaps and bounds whilst setting up leading underground label ‘Muzik Street Records’ and having released one of the biggest underground hits of 2005 ‘Again & Again’ which is currently featured on ‘Pure Garage, The Main Room Sessions’. D&G has also been extremely busy within the studio collaborating with fellow artist Dezz Jones and working with artists such as Jamakabi, James Jnr, Jade smallz and a whole host of others, audio is available on www.badboydj.com and DJ D&G’s myspace home page.
