I Back At The Garage nascono nel novembre del 2005 quando anto (voce e chitarra) e mino (batteria) decidono di formare una nuova band dopo lo scioglimento dei FirExit.
Mino decide subito di portare Tom alla chitarra solista.
Nell'attesa di trovare un bassista i tre decidono comunque di iniziare a provare insieme, nascono così le prime canzoni (Won't Forget e Spring Will Return).
Successivamente, a Tom viene in mente di inserire nel gruppo una ragazza, veronica, con una voce decisamente invidiabile, per sperimentare un sound migliore e più caratterizzante.
Dopo qualche tempo avviene l'incontro con ivan, cantante e bassista dei WastingDays, e immediatamente si decide di farlo entrare nel gruppo.
Finalmente con la band al completo seguono una serie di concerti nella primavera/estate 2006 e una demo (in giugno) intitolata Far From Grey, contenente 7 pezzi di cui 2 acustici.
Nell'autunno del 2006 veronica è costretta a lasciare la band per problemi personali e, dopo un momentaneo periodo di sconforto e la vana ricerca di una degna sostituta, i Back At The Garage decidono di fare a meno della voce femminile e di continuare da soli.
Ma nel gennaio del 2007 un incidente colpisce gravemente anto (voce dei back at) e costringe il quartetto a una lunga pausa durata fino ai primi di giugno, quando, ristabilitosi anto, la band ritorna in studio per registrare 4 nuovi pezzi che andranno a completare la precedente demo (Far From Grey, autoprodotta nel 2006).
Attualmente la band non è sotto alcun contratto e, fortemente motivata a suonare, è alla ricerca di numerose serate!

Back At The Garage was formed in late November 2005: Anto takes the initiative asking Mino to form a new band, after FirExit split up. Mino immediately proposes Tom as a guitarist. The trio starts playing with a missing member (bass player), creating the early songs (Wont Forget and Spring Will Return). Thanks to Tom's idea, a really talented girl (from their high school) is introduced to the band, to experiment with a better and more refined sound. After a while they meet Ivan, Wasting Days's singer and bass player, who immediately joins the band. By spring/summer 2006 they start playing in a few local gigs and they record their first 7 songs ep titled "Far from grey", including 2 acustic songs.
In autumn 2006 Veronica was forced to leave the band by personal matter and, after a brief discouraging period and the useless search of a worthy substitute, Back At The Garage decides to do without a female voice and keep on going themselves. But, in January 2007, anto (voice) was critically struck down by an unexpected occurance, which oblijed the band to make a very long pause until june; as soon as anto recovered, they realize their 2nd ep formed by 4 new songs which are going to complete le previous ep (Far From Grey, self-produced in 2006). At the moment the band is not under any contract and, seriously motivated in playing, is looking for many gigs!
