PETER HAS TO LEAVE AXAMENTA
Very unfortunate news from the Axa-front, our frontman Peter has to quit singing in Axamenta, on doctor's orders.
Here's Peter official statement:
"After more than 9 and a half years it has come to pass that I say goodbye to Axa. This has been a tough decision but alas it is a decision taken on doctor's orders. My heart is still with the guys and the music but my voice can't take anymore damage than it has taken over the years. It has been a great ride and I wish I could ride the cloud of Axa untill eternity. The gigs that are planned will go on with me as the singer.

AXAMENTA ENDORSES AMEDIA CYMBALS
Working with Patsticks for Tom's Balbex endorsement has resulted in another fine deal.
Tom will now endorse Amedia cymbals, imported through Patsticks as well.
As Tom says himself : "I proudly announce that I will be playing Amedia cymbals exclusively from now on. Amedia cymbals have a unique sound that will fit Axamenta perfectly. They're are hand made in Istanbul and the number of different variations is huge.
I'm convinced Amedia cymbals will bring lots of good to the future sound of Axamenta!"
We heard them at the rehearsal, and oh hell yes, these cymbals are indeed a very good addition to our future sound . Which is nice.
AXAMENTA ENDORSES BALBEX STICKS
Great news, Tom inked an endorsement deal for drum sticks with the Czech manufacturer Balbex Sticks ! Tom has performed at Olen's Rockfest with them, and is truely convinced about their quality and endurance. More info about these great products at www.balbex.cz and www.patsticks.nl.
AXAMENTA ENDORSES MAYONES GUITARS
We are honoured to announce that negotiations with the Polish guitar manufacturer MAYONES are round up ! We recently signed a deal to endorse their magnificently crafted guitars and basses.
Ian and Sven will endorse 2 Regius models each, Jerre will be endorsing a Jabba and a Victorius bass, all made to custom demands.
Both parties are absolutely excited about the deal and we're really looking forward to seeing the guitars being made and finally being able to play on them on our live shows.

SHOW WITH CRADLE OF FILTH
Looks like our show with Cradle that got cancelled earlier this year, got a second chance !
On December 16th we will be playing with CRADLE OF FILTH, DEATHSTARS, MELECHESH and 1 extra act in Hof Ter Lo, instead of the annual X-mass Festival.

PAST
About 3 years ago, AXAMENTA decided to make a radical shift in their musical style and began working towards a more technical and progressive approach.
Their love for movie scores also made them replace the keyboards by orchestra samples, which gives them a unique sound in the Belgian scene.
NEW EVER-ARCH-I-TECH-TURE RECORDINGS
In May 2005, AXAMENTA entered the JACOB HANSEN STUDIO to record their next
full CD, named EVER-ARCH-I-TECH-TURE.
The mixing and mastering was done by Fredrick Nordstrm
at the FREDMAN STUDIO and
Gran Finnberg at THE MASTERING ROOM.
The album takes you on a journey through the meticulously worked out concept
story. In 13 tracks, AXAMENTA brings you a mixture of bombastic orchestra-guided opuses, heavily grooving Swedish-like prog songs and even a ballad song which is enlightened by the guest vocals of the Swedish prog-icon DANIEL GILDENLW (PAIN OF SALVATION)
who recorded all the vocals for this song!
RELEASE OF THE ALBUM
In May 2006, AXAMENTA brought their madness to the masses in
cooperation with the Belgian label SHIVER RECORDS!
This release has already resulted in:
