Avant Garde

Avant Garde was formed by Omar Jamal and Ian Lundquist.We played our first show March 30th, 2007 at the Upper Room in Virginia, MN.We had Fun and Thought the Crowd did too. However after rocking it up in 2007, and 2008 all over Northern Minnesota with David Kellner and Andy Marquis Making Temporary Appearances and Alex Zollar Taking over on lead vocals till he went to College. After Kurtfest 08' Rio quit to go pursue his other band, ACID. Omar and Ian tried to recruit their friend Mike Hejny, but it was futile step. We have hopefully all learned something from this experience.
