A.T.S are a 5 Piece Funky Rap Rock band

from Salisbury in Southern England.

A.T.S formed in January of 2005 with

3 members Jamie, Richie and James, and

then vocalist Josh. The band has grown to

7 members over the first year and a half

and have played a fair few gigs which

have resulted in a large local

(and further a field) fan-base that make

themselves heard at every gig! The band

now consists of 5 members and

frequently features guest vocalists and

musicians.

In December of 2005 A.T.S

(as 6 members) took to Swanton Bomb

Studios at Grovesnor House to record a

4 track demo E.P. After Finishing

recording in four days, it was quickly

swallowed up by the local fans; the

overall quality of the E.P has made

people hail it is one of the best local

band demos yet! Some of the tracks

from the E.P can be heard online on the

A.T.S myspace with our material from

our new demo that we are currently self

recording.

A.T.S have won all of the Salisbury Inter-College Battle of the Bands they have

entered since they formed.

In April 2006 the band made their London

debut in Notting Hill at Strummerville with

a stunning opening performance at a private

Music Industry members party which has raised

many eyebrows of label scouts and promoters

and resulted in an offer for a publishing deal.

On the 14th April A.T.S played alongside other up

& coming bands in front of their biggest Hometown

crowd of over 600 people at Salisbury City Hall.

After 2 months of writing & sequencing new and

old songs, A.T.S was asked to return to London

to play another private gig for the music industry

at Strummerville. A.T.S was asked to perform a

Clash song of their choice in front of Mick Jones

(The Clash and Foreigner guitarist), Joe Strummers

Daughter, and other people within the music

industry including Lily Allen. Once again A.T.S made a big impact on

label scouts and promoters.

In late December of 2006 Chaz neutrally departed

from A.T.S and we found a new guitarist Luke. Throughout the rest of 2006 and 2007 the band continued to spread their influence writing new matieral and playing gigs.

In early 2008 Richie left the band to persue his own plans at Uni in Leeds. In the wake of this Luke became the drummer and the band hired a new 2nd guitarist Martin. The band carried on playing gigs untill in mid 2008 James decided to leave the band too go to Uni in London. After this the rest of the boys decided to call it a day and in Summer 2008 they played their last gig to a large hyped up crowd at the Salisbury City FC Stadium. It was a sad, sad day but the crowd gave us a farewell to be proud of.

After 4 years of fun times that were had at many gigs touching many faces and moving many bodies, the band A.T.S also known as Attack The System was no more.
