BRIEF BIO: Born in Texas. I have been playing guitar since I was 9; 1st live performance with Ron Turner and Jay Silverman. I joined my first working band, Silent Slim and the Locomotives, when I was 15. I studied Jazz Improvisation and Music Theory @ Del Mar College
with Chester Rupe. I excel in the art of tasteful extemporaneous improvisation. Many performances are executed with no prior introduction or rehearsal.
NOTABLE MOMENTS: When I was 17, I was featured on the cover of Texas Blues Magazine and considered as one of the premier, up and coming guitar players. Texas Blues Magazine, run by Gene Kelton, also featured me in several articles including, “Young Guns” the Future of Texas Blues. I won the Austin round of the Guitarmageddon contest and was crowned Austin's
King of the Blues in 2006.
Currently I am seeking the means to record an original studio project. I continue to collaborate with various artists on new projects. I include information on all projects I participate (d) in.
