A Thousand Times Yes

A Thousand Times Yes is the songwriting trifecta of Joe Hoffman, Audra Marks and Greg Evangelista that began in East Lansing, MI in the year 2000, sometimes using the stage names-- Casper Von Hoffman, Sparx and Lull Tucker. They have recorded 3 albums in their tenure: "Laser Guns and Lassoes: The Weaponry of Modern Life" (which featured another founding member, Andrea Fontana), "Michigan", and "Heartbeats". In 2006 they decided to go their seperate ways as Audra was moving to Chicago to pursue her Master's degree. Joe and his wife, Kate, soon followed her out there and Greg remained in Detroit playing in various local bands (Old Empire, DIRTYLOVEBITES). In 2008, Joe and Greg began exchanging recordings of new recorded material long distance. It didn't take long for them to start planning a new musical venture together and Audra was interested in joining them again for the journey! In March of 2008, they will make a return performance at the Hamtramck Blowout-- a festival in which helped bring them to the forefront of the Detroit indie music scene.
