Soothing, brittle textures overlap with white noise bursts, glitchy loop patterns and distorted breakbeats to create an admixture of emotional moodiness and sample-heavy industrial chaos. Snippets of political discourse and dream allegory murmur in the background and bubble up into focus as if directly out of the subconscious mind.

2010 brings "Variforms", perhaps a more introspective offering, predicated on the recording technique the duo used: live with little to no overdubs, edits or additional manipulations. Despite (or because of) the minimal production, Variforms sounds lush and varied, less a dance-oriented than a mind-oriented album.
