Astrid

In late December of 2005 the Astrid seed was planted. Their goal was simple, to be the best they could be in the most honest and ethical way possible. Astrid joined together to elevate an alternative rock style that is unique. They continue to produce this magical sound on a constant path to the hearts of their fans. They are more than a band; Astrid is a family, all on the same journey for the growth within themselves as musicians and bringing music to all that surround them. Members include Brelen Parker (vocals), Justin Linscheid (keyboard), Brad Casenave (bass), Johnny Kosich (guitar/backup vocals), Chris Weethee (Drums). Astrid's sound is driven by Linscheid's piano and Accented by Parkers Vocals, Creating a sound rarely heard in Stockton's array of Hardcore bands. Casenave lays down the funk on his bass while Johnny rocks out on his guitar. They are currently in the process of releasing their first 8 song EP. By the Summer of 2007, they hope to be playing up and down the west coast.
