"Asphalt Juke is an intriguing blend of modern rock, alternative, blues and metal," as described by North Coast Voice Magazine. Taking cues from some of their biggest influences, The Used, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Life of Agony, The Deftones, Clutch and Faith No More, to name a few, and not limiting themselves to just the standard, they have managed to compile a very diverse catalog of music, that can only be described as a remeniscent step forward in songwriting. Battling some of the most substantial issues in society today, Asphalt Juke aims to make a difference, whether it be for one person, the world or just themselves.

After some mild success with their debut album "Tragedy & Recovery", and plenty of new material that was shaping up to be a great second album, the band slowly parted ways in the the summer and fall of 2008. Bob Awesome is currently in "Uptight Sugar" on lead guitar and backing vocals. Dave Novakovich is currently writing new material and making the occasional acoustic performance, while working towards putting together a new project. The band's final bass player Cy Vereshack can also be found playing acoustically. The bands longest tenured bass player Willie Tharp is operating WKT4 Studio. He is currently without a band, but is reportedly looking to resurrect "The Bentreys" with a new lineup. Deric Payne, Ed Small and original bass player Ken Repass are currently M.I.A. from the local music scene.
