Ashley Wey
• Born and raised on the west coast of Canada, Ashley has been playing piano for 23 years.
• After playing in jazz clubs since the age of 15, Ashley went on to study with international jazz icons including George Cables, Pat Labarbra, Don Thompson and Hilaro Duran.
• Ashley has received the Duke Ellington Award for arranging and composition. She was also the youngest person to ever be awarded the prestigious Fraser MacPherson scholarship.
• Recently, Ashley has worked with Grammy Award winner Manny Kellough playing straight jazz; with Pearl Kaufman, Hollywood's first call pianist; with American Idol star Kimberly Locke; toured Canada with 2006 Canadian Idol winner Eva Availa; and also, toured with Juno Award winning 80's world-pop group The Parachute Club.
