Ashley Thompson

Ashley started singing in church at the age of 8 years old and at 10 years old knew that she wanted to sing for the rest of her life. She has won numerous local, regional and national singing contests, including the 2003 Colgate Country Showdown. Ashley is presently working on a music career in Nashville.



She has previously Studied voice under Renee Grant Williams and Kim Wood Sandusky of Nashville.

Demo work for Winston Sela of London and Michael Selacuse of Nashville. Grand Award winner of the 1997 Mid-South Fair Youth Talent Contest, Memphis, TN; which led to a CBS audition in Hollywood.

Featured guest co-star on the CBS series Touched by an Angel, episode 423, Perfect Little Angel, air date 04/23/98. Performed Unchained Melody during pageant sequence. Featured on Entertainment Tonight promoting Touched by an Angel.

Guest appearances on North Mississippis Morning Show.

Entertainer at Libertyland amusement park, Memphis, TN 1997 1999.

Winner of MTVs Say What Karaoke, episode 21, Memphis, TN 1998. Performed for Crossroads Music Festival on Beale Street, Memphis, TN 1998. Headline performer in 2001 Miss Mississippi which aired throughout the state. The show won an Emmy award for Best Live Production and Direction in 2001.

Performed on Nashville Morning Show with Charlie Chase, December 2001. Studied voice and dance under Linda Septian (Jessica Simpson's vocal coach) and Fenton Fulgham, Dallas, TX.

Overall winner Sing to Win at the Wild Horse Saloon, Nashville.

Winner of the 2003 Colgate Country Showdown, Orlando FL. Won the title Best New Act in Country Music. Aired on national television between March and May of 2003.
