Bittersweet

So recently born again.but it all began a little over five years ago; George began taking from the world all of the inspiration that he could reach, all that was given to him, and all that which seemed too divine at times to deny the gift in his own two hands. Soon enough, he found no better way to express those emotions, events, and relationships, than in the form of a song. Since then, he has been fortunate to create and perform along side of, if not for, some of the best musicians and best of friends. Leading and collaborating for some time with two bands, (Bittersweet, A Shade of Blue), a world renowned Beatboxer, and various other artists; George developed his songwriting to many new levels, and learned from many experiences. A plateau came soon enough, and so he decided to spend some time as a solo artist, to travel freely playing music and do some soul searching while he was at it.
After spending almost a year and a half as a solo act, where George continued to write and play gigs close to home and overseas, narrowing down what he wanted in a band was almost a certainty, a clear picture. But where would he find the musicians to create the sound and share the same love for original music that he has?? Some might suggest posting on craigslist or asking around music class. But before he even began to look, all the members of the Friends, joining on one by one, each at different jams, accompanied George and the growing group of friends in a jam that would keep them all jamming together from that point on.
Since then George Janouris and his new found friends have developed their sound into an acoustic/bluesy/smooth alternative/Jazzy (but what good music isn't?)/progressive/folk-ish and sometimes just a down-right funky creation.
And those creations, that are still coming hot off the press, are made easily with the best of vibes and talent that are shared within the latest band, George Janouris & Friends.
