As Forever Fades

The metalcore beast As Forever Fades was forged in late 2006, enduring several lineup changes as it formed and found its identity. The current lineup features members Jeremy (vocals) and Seth (guitar), plus Craig (drums) and Jon (bass). Jeremy, Seth, and Jon are all founding members.
"We've been truckin' ever since," says Jon. The desire to make good metal music brought us together and with the band being relatively young and hungry, we feel like the sky is the limit for us!"
Jon says that the band's drive to succeed is tied to its devotion to quality. The group strives to make each song an evolution from the last, improving and growing with each creative endeavor. Originality is a central concern.
In 2009, the band self-released its first album, titled From Tragedy. Jon recorded, mixed, and mastered the album himself, and has since remixed and remastered the tracks for a future release, aptly named Re: From Tragedy. The band hopes to release Re: From Tragedy sometime in 2011 with a bonus track, Circulation. Circulation was recorded with producer Curran Murphy (former Nevermore, Annihilator guitarist) at his studio in Akron, Ohio, called Smiley Sound Studios.
"We're proud to be able to say we can do things such as record on our own and will continue to do so in the future," asserts Jon. "We'll always look to potentially work with new people in the future to expand our writing ability and get the most out of our songs, but we take pride in being able to make a good product on our own."
As Forever Fades has played with a number of national/international acts, including Suicide Silence, Sepultura, Nevermore, Stemm, Oceano, Emmure, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, Whitechapel, War of Ages, Through the Eyes of the Dead, Impending Doom, Carnifex, For Today, Between the Buried and Me, The Acacia Strain, Beneath the Sky, and many more.
