Blending elements from the entire spectrum of black metal, including melodic and folk elements, Wolven Ancestry has performed with many of the industries leading bands including Mayhem, Behemoth, Sigh, Impaled Nazarene, 1349, Ensiferum, Moonsorrow, Goatwhore, Nachtmystium, Kalmah, Emeth, Cryptopsy, Averse Sefira, Skinless and many more great bands. Wolven Ancestry continues to grow and will continue to spread the hymns of nature, pagan ideology and the true spirit of Canadian Black Metal. New album entitled "The Silence of the Boreal" will be released Summer of 2009. Official release date coming soon!
