The primary principle of the aspirant, as it is written in many arcane and esoteric volumes of occultist lore, is based on the idea of entering the light from spiritual darkness. Juxtaposed to this notion, any individual drawn to the spiritual darkness from the light might be labelled the anti-aspirant. It is the goal of the anti-aspirant to transcend to other darker planes of existence. In doing so, such an adeptus might actually shatter their immediate reality and open wide the gates leading to the altered states of consciousness and being. When this ritual has successfully taken place, a transmogrification of the mind, body and soul soon follows. The anti-aspirant no longer is human, but rather has become a vessel that allows all the evil that ever was, is, and will be, to enter. The horde of Artep are four such individuals, brought together through a common pursuance of spiritual darkness. Through the medium of sonic resonation, this band of dark gnostics have harnessed the darkness and unleashed it upon the earthly plane of existence. The purpose therein, based purely out of misanthropy, is to demystify to other worldly seekers of darkness the path taken, whilst simultaneously punishing those who would stigmatize and speak out against everything the horde of Artep stands for. The world has become too sick to be allowed to survive. The followers of the path of light have hypnotized the consciousness of all within their reach, assimilating them with lies and promises of great rewards in the next world. The horde of Artep, and their legions are here to restore the balance.
