A remix of Work From Home by Fifth Harmony & Work By Rihanna.

-Lesbian LoveStory & Prostitution-

Constructing a new abstract meaning where Fifth Harmony and Rihanna are lovers.
At the start of the video Rihanna and Drake both leave their cars while looking at one another. We can sense some sexual tension between them, however, Fifth Harmony immediately states that she is not "worried about nothing". From her body language and her defensive tone, it becomes evident that she is in fact worried for Rihnna, or possibly Drake, as it this remains oblivious at this point. (Although arguably, to the heteronormative POV, Drake is assumed to be the lover instantly).

Fifth Harmony continues to state she is "sitting pretty impatient but I know you gotta put in them hours". Meanwhile, we see Rihanna sitting on a chair, looking at her watch as though waiting for Fifth Harmony. Perhaps Fifth Harmony is at work, specifically labour work considering the location. Here it becomes unclear who truly is at work.

That scene is then disregarded when Rihanna is shown dancing in a club. Fifth Harmony continues to struggle in the fact that their lover is at work, and is perhaps a sex worker. They continue to repeat in the chorus "you don't gotta go to work" etc.

The chorus ends and the music slows down while Rihanna states "if I get another chance to, I would never no never neglect you" suggesting that perhaps they had broken up.

We are then taken straight back to Fifth Harmony who pushes a man away and says "we don't need nobody, I just need your body", again, persuading their lover, Rihanna that they do not have to sex-workers. All they need is each other.
While Rihanna is dancing with Drake, the screen is split and Fifth Harmony replaces Drake. This again, reflects Fifth Harmony's frustration, and their attempts to keep Rihanna for themselves.

Further another chorus is played with various sexual symbols. However, this time those sexual symbols & metaphors are focused on Fifth Harmony, not Rihanna. Moreover, TY Dolla Sign suddenly appears and states that the "girl gotta work for (him)". Meanwhile, we witness Fifth Harmony twerking in his favour, and listening to all his orders.
His voice appears to be demonic. As he commands Fifth Harmony to do favours for him we witness Rihanna suffering alone on a bed as though waiting for her lover or thinking of her lover who's possibly sleeping with someone else.

We then see Rihanna in a dark room appearing as though she is speaking to herself in a mirror. She points at herself while saying "YOU" Followed by "ME!?" This action is repeated a couple of times and TY Dolla Sign is shown agreeing with her as though to say "Yes you".

While this is abstract, it could be viewed to say that Rihanna is blaming herself while yet at the same time refusing to take the full blame for her lover's need to rely on sex work.

Suddenly, Fifth Harmony screams "You ain't gotta go to work" and Rihanna gets up. She leaves the room and texts a man saying "Come to my house... I have something for you". We see the receiving end is a man in his car, not Fifth Harmony. The video continues to become more abstract as it becomes clear that both Fifth Harmony and Rihanna are sex workers in love with one another.

The shot of Rihanna from the start of the video is repeated at the end. where she awaits her lover. However, this time it becomes evident that she is, in fact, waiting for her customer. As the camera zooms in at her camera, we understand that perhaps she chooses this lifestyle to pay for her leisurely needs. However, arguably, Rihanna starts her sex-work as she becomes tired of waiting for her lover to stop being a sex-worker.

Is my vision of sex work correct? I have no idea, but I hope you enjoyed the little remix ;)

P.s. This analysis was written in 5 mins and could possiby contain many many MANY grammer mistakes and mistakes. I just can't be bothered to read it. If you read this far, then man, you one despreate mutha fucka! ;D
