Area 12 is a melodic punk rock band from Bogota, Colombia. They have been playing
since 1998. They were one of the first punk rock bands in Colombia and they
have been supporting the scene since their first show. They have punk rock and
neo punk influences and their style is unique. Area 12s first album "Un Alto
en el Camino" was released on 2002, it contains songs such as "Viejo burgues"
and "El Valor de lo Simple". On 2005 they released their latest album
titled "No me Vas a Joder". After their second Album ther released "Aqui estare", their latest single. They will release a new album soon.



Area 12 es una banda de Punk Rock Melodico de Bogota, Colombia. Empezaron a tocar en 1998. Fueron una de las primeras bandas de la escena punk rock de Bogota. Sus influencias vienen desde el punk clasico, pasando por el punk rock y en neo punk. Su primer Albu fue lanzado en el 2002, "un alto en el camino" vendiendo mas de 5000 copias a nivel nacional. Contiene canciones como "Viejo Burgues" y "El Valor de lo simple"- Su segundo Album fue lanzado en el 2005 "no me vas a joder" con temas como "Aprendiendo a vivir", "Si no estas" y "Con heridas en las manos". En el 2007 lanzaron
su single Aqui Estare, el cual estuvo en los primeros lugares de la radio nacional durante mas de 9 meses.
El 29 de Agosto de 2009 estarán lanzando su nuevo album DESAPARECIDOS, que incluye temas como "Yo no soy pirata", "Yo Solo Pido", "Que EMOS Hecho" y "Desaparecidos"
