Often referred to in the industry by the monickers "Ghost" for his prolific writing skills, and "Great-Ness" for demonstrating excellence in a multitude of endeavors, Grade Ness composes nearly every genre of music, drafting R&B and rap lyrics for major artists that you hear on your radio daily. More than a writer, Ness also manifests his talents instrumentally, as a member of the 8Trix Music team along with partners Chris Wright and 8Trix himself. That group has worked with numerous artists like Paul Wall, The Clipse, Scarface, and Raheem DeVaughn amongst others, but is most widely recognized for their work on the track "Wish You Would" which appeared on Ludacris' 2008 "Theater of the Mind" album featuring TI. That track, which marked the first time the two Atlanta mega-stars had ever collaborated, made MTV News, Top 10 on the iTunes Singles charts, and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rap Duo of 2008. Prior to finding fame as a producer, Grade Ness released his solo-debut mixtape "Face of the Future" in 2007 under the name "Ghost." In doing so, he not only became one of the few artists in hip hop history to truly make his mark on the streets of the District of Columbia, he also earned his space as an emerging artist in the global hip hop industry, going on to make subsequent appearances on nationally released mixtapes alongside the likes of Lil Wayne, Andre 3000, and Young Jeezy to name a few. In the future, look for Ghost to step out of the shadows of the hip hop legends he writes for and lends his swagger to, to advance his own identity as a multi-national hip-hop icon, and expect 8Trix Music to produce some of the world's most played and thoroughly enjoyed songs.
