To clarify the state of AQ- we are unofficially on standby for an unspecified period of time, especially in the area of live shows, as our guitarist Sam and drummer Chris have left for the big monster known as NYC and Wes now lives in the Twin Cities. Our new record, Irony Takes the Cake, is completed and will soon be pressed, and is the force that determines our status as a band in many ways at this time. On the new release- Comprised of nine searing tracks, the full-length entitled Irony Takes the Cake marks a distinct growth from The Eleventh Hour and shows the band's measureable leaning into darker and more introspective territory. Fans of The Eleventh Hour will not be disappointed- this album has all the drive and sonic color to be expected from AQ, and sets out to rock even harder than the last. Highlight tracks will include "Undiscover," "Across Town," "Asleep Behind the Wheel," and "A Sinking Stone."
