Five Individuals come together to create positive music to spread a message of love, revolution, and unity. This sound is Apex Vibe.
Appearing on the Denver music scene in January of 2007 with the intention of making music "people can dance to", Apex Vibe has clearly met that challenge and more. Known for their electric live performances, sharing the stage with artists like UB40, Ky-Mani Marley,Eek-A-Mouse, Fishbone, Don Carlos of (Black Uhuru), Alborosie, Mystic Roots Band, Flobots, Collie Buddz, New Kingston Band,Selasee, Passafire, The Supervillians,The B foundation, Roster Mc Cabe, Katastro, and Sober Down plus lots of crowd participation, every show they play is an improvement and a bar for which they keep raising for themselves. With one E.P. "Rhythm Music" released Oct. 2007 (available on iTunes) and the single "Saturday Morning" being released June. 2009 as part of their first full length effort yet to be released the catchy hook laden lyrics of Tim Sanchez's vocals and the riveting guitar playing of Dirka are apparent. Backed by a solid rhythm section with Will Lovell on bass, Sam Caudill on keys, and Dubs on drums the sound is unique but also might take you back to the Omaha roots of 311, or the Long Beach sounds of Sublime, your grandma might even crack a 40 oz after just a few minutes. Either way the joint effort of writing songs as a band together and tirelessly digging deep to find the pocket has helped the band's sound come full circle from it's origins in an orange basement on the west side of Denver. Apex Vibe is not your normal white boy reggae, they are reaching for a new place in time where dub reggae hooks up with the foundation of rock n roll and is baked at a Mile High.

PRESS REVIEWS
"Awesome. Best act today. Only act to do an actual transition. They should totally wear their hats forward, though." Aside from the hat thing (anyone over the age of 12 who isn't playing catcher for a Major League Baseball team should wear his baseball cap brim-to-the-front), Apex Vibe was the show-stealer. With a polished, big, dub-meets-hip-hop sound, great hooks and huge stage presence, the band was also the only act I saw that had a smooth segue from one tune to another. Professionals."

"One thing that all shredders can relate to is coming together and having a good time, which is what Apex Vibe is all about; holding it down for the Colorado scene, this band has great potential and is gaining speed with each show they kill"
