Apakalips, Emmanuel Contreras, was born in Los Angeles and earned his razor sharp emcee skills in open mics all over southern California. An accomplished graphic artist as well as MC, he also has jumped head first into production. Being a part of The Company Records production team working with Broadway he has gained true skills when it comes to producing a track. He has produced the likes of many southern Cal artists such Kaos Brought, The Executives, Random, and Che Skizza - a former member of the group Color Section. He has also has production credit for Digital Underground ,Brother J of Xclan andis currently working with Taboo from Black Eye Peas.Also with production on various shows and movies such as " irv gotti reality show, MTV real world , and movies such as GANGSTA RAP the GLOCKUMENTARY, He has performed with several artists at many different major venues and is expecting a very successful 2006 with the release of his first solo album tentatively titled, THE 11th COMMANDMENT - EL FIN DEL MUNDO which is going to be a mixture of latin hip hop, street culture, and classic production.
