ANTENNA

ANTENNA is a russian electronic rock project formed in Ekaterinburg, Urals, Russia in 1997.



Ekaterinburg is an industrial megapolice with lots of heavy machinery and military plants, so theres a hundreds factory pipes all around the city, that makes a landscape unforgettable - you can look in any destination and see at least 3 pipes at the same time :) Ural industry is mostly produce heavy nuclear and rocket weapon, so that definitely has an effect on how it feels to live there. Current population of Ekaterinburg is about 2 000 000 people.



Band name "ANTENNA" have been chosen because it sounds similar in both russian and english languages and perfectly describes what a songwriter sometimes feels like.



The band playing a kind of indie electronic rock with a lots of computer programming stuff, guitars and drums. The music can be described with a word "songs" - the band is writing songs - not tracks and playing an indie rock songs as electronic as they can be.



The band moderates this page by THEMSELVES and does NOT use a PR team on myspace.
