"I saw this band over the weekend in a basement and they played like they were at Madison Square Garden. The guitarwork is crazy, the drums are tight, and the attitude is just old school." -- iTunes review by thebenefitofmrkite

".Currently stuck in my head. Good stuff!" -- Julia Conny, AbsolutePunk.net

ANOTHER FOUND SELF is a rock band from Youngstown, OH that is slowly but surely starting to make waves nationally. Forming in high school, the core line-up of Julian Charles Smith III (Vocals), Nicholas Sainato (Drums/Percussion/Vocals), Mark Catalano (Guitar/Vocals), and Dom "The Dirty" Devin (Guitar/Vocals) began playing tons of shows and winning major battle of the bands competitions around Ohio and Pennsylvania. By graduation --after a trip to LA, shows with Panic! at the Disco, Gym Class Heroes, Say Anything, Head Automatica) the boys were determined to take it further and started touring the Midwest and East Coast. Fast forward several shows, tours, ups, downs, and even an appearance on primetime national television and you'll find a tighter, fiercer, confident, and more determined Another Found Self

An appearance on Cleveland's date of Warped Tour and the band's most successful tour to date (with Double Blind Records' Sparks The Rescue and Signal The Escape) led to the band becoming a regional draw with the reputation of an electric live show preceding them wherever their van took them. Dates with The Starting Line, The Almost, and Hanson (really) along with the group's usual steady diet of regional gigs followed and the guys, armed with 18 new songs, made the decision to take December '07 off to record in Saratoga Springs/Albany, NY with good friend John Philip Clark. The results are the songs you're hearing and they couldn't be more thrilled with them! Hoping you feel the same.

ANOTHER FOUND SELF lives and breathes this music. When you see them, it doesn't matter if you're in a group of five or five thousand -- they give their all. Not because they've got something to prove, but because it's fun. And doesn't everyone need a little fun in their lives?
