Another Day Ruined

I'm Jay from Another Day Ruined,a north jersey based band.Here's a little info about ADR The indi-rock world is constantly evolving. With the advent of bands such as Thursday, The Get Up Kids, and Jimmy Eat World, "emo" has become one of the most prominent underground styles, defined by its dynamic music and deeply personal lyrics. Combine this with the post-hardcore exuberance of Quicksand and Jawbox, you get the band Another Day Ruined (ADR). Dave Smalley(Dag Nasty, Down by Law) said it best"[ADR] sounds like emo with balls!" Another Day Ruined finished production on their first four song self released effort. This was recorded at The Pidgeon Club in Hoboken, NJ and produced/ engineered by Tod Parker who has worked on Grammy award winning and nominated albums. Some of his credits include Andrew WK, in conjunction with Rick Rubin, as well as David Bowie, Breaking Pangaea, The Holy Ghost & Taking Back Sunday's "Where You Want To Be". The band toured the southern east coast and continued to play the tri-state area as well as Philadelphia, Washington DC, and Boston. ADR has shared the stage with some great acts such as Dave Smalley (Dag Nasty, Down by Lay, ALL), The Banner , My Chemical Romance (Eyeball Records), Running Like Thieves (ex Bold/ Supertouch), The Fiendz (Black Pumpkin Records),The Escape Engine (Fidelity Records),Flashlight Arcade, Destroy The Plot,AC Cobra ,Murphy's Law and many others. Another Day Ruined was formed in 2001 by five friends. They were all seasoned veterans of the independent punk/hardcore scene totaling over 40 years of touring and song writing experience. The band has taken separate roads and have discovered their own paths toward happiness and personal fulfillment. The friendship between us all will always remain we're still family. We hope to influence and continue to contribute in helping all those who listen to our music understand the deep feelings generated within us. Thank you all for the support throughout the years.
