~*high on a mountain top, folks up here know what we got. where i come from mountain flowers grow wild, the blue grass sways like it's goin outa style, god fearin' people, simple and real, cause up on the ridge folks that's the deal. well, my daddy worked down in the dark coal mine, shovelin that coal and shovelin time, didn't make a lot of money, never had much. but we're high on life and were rich in love. high on the mountain top, we live to love and we laugh a lot. folks up here know what they got. high on a mountain top, high on a mountain top, well the rest of the world is like a little bitty spot. i aint comin down no NEVER i'm not. high on the mountian top, high on the mountain top. -------------------------------------------------------------------

Anna Becker grew up in Franklin North Carolina. Franklin is a small town, with high mountains and big dreamers. From there she wandered up to Nashville, Tenn. and toiled about a bit. which only sprung her all the way down to Florida where she is now. Now folks. it's a whole long story inbetween, but you'll just have to listen to the songs to hear the rest of the story.
