A long time ago, a girlfriend asked me to sing her a song. Because I've never thought of myself as a singer, I felt it would be a little more special if I wrote her a song instead. I bought a small keyboard and began trying to write her song. Though I am still working on her song, playing the keyboard and writing music has become more than a hobby.

Anyways. Not only was I surprised to
hear my songs on played the radio, but was very surprised when someone who heard one of my songs called the DJ to
get my number and actually paid me for a CD. After a little research on the Internet, I found CDBaby, I registered, sent them a few CD-R's and $35 bucks. A couple weeks later I had a CD sale, then another that went to Germany, then another to France. Now CD's have gone all over the United States, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, and Europe. One CD even to Iraq. I was also surprised when I saw that my music was being purchased through iTunes, Amazon, MSN Music, and many other
music download sites.
Other surprises were being artist of the month at Disciples of Freestyle Club Hits, and interviewed by freakstyle-experience.com. Also, one of my songs "Getting Over You" made number 13 at ClubFreestyle.com's, "The Top 50 Freestyle Songs of 2005!!!!" and Getting Over You (504 Power Radio Mix) remixed by Tears of Technology is on a German compilation CD, Freestyle Vol. 37. There is even a webpage with my name and songs on VH1.com and Billboard.com.
