Angelique Bates, a California native from Haitian/Native American Indian decent, graduated from high school at the age of fifteen. This very talented young lady is a veteran when it comes to the entertainment industry. Angelique, who is a member of SAG, AFTRA, and ASCAP, has been in show business since the tender age of nine months. She is experienced in front of the camera as well as behind it.
Angelique was a Series Regular on Nickelodeon's #1 hit, television show, All That, a sketch comedy show for 3 Seasons. Angelique's episodes are currently being shown on a daily-to-weekly basis worldwide. Her worldwide fans are ages 3 years old and up.
Angelique does guest appearances for schools, various functions, clubs, radio stations, music videos, television, and talk shows. She has been seen gracing the red carpet all over Hollywood. Angelique has also appeared in several news articles and teen magazines. She also works with a few foundations to give back to the community. Angelique works hands on with Red Cross, Feed The Children, and IRelief(Haiti), to name a few. Angelique also participates in a lot of events that support our brave troops. She was just featured in Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore's "End U.S. Hunger" Campaign commercial for Kellogg's and is one of the many faces representing the NOH8 Campaign. Angelique returned to All That for the 100th episode reunion and co-starred on Unsolved Mysteries, Strong Medicine, Boston Public, and My Wife and Kids. You can also catch Angelique in the new horror film Sisters. She also appeared in Thirteen and Love Don't Cost A Thang Keep an eye out for Angelique in a few upcoming films in 2011. She just finished filming the motion picture 35 and Ticking starring Mike Epps, Meagan Good, Tamala Jones, and a few others.
Angelique is in the studio working w/hot producers on her album plus some tracks that she produced herself. She is working on a few soundtracks as an artist and as a producer. Angelique's single Can't Fade Me Now is currently getting radio play. She has rocked the house at B.B. Kings at Universal City more than once. Angelique has opened for The Sugarhill Gang, Big Daddy Kane, Special Ed, Rampage (Flipmode Squad), and few others. She has songs on the So So Def mixtape and is also featured on the Slip-N-Slide UK Mixtape and is on the main album cover. Angelique is also the lead voice-over in an upcoming urban lifestyle video game. In addition, Angelique does stand-up comedy at some of the hottest comedy clubs in Los Angeles. At age sixteen, Angelique performed her first paid professional stand-up performance at the Laugh Factory hosted by Jay Mohr which was covered by Entertainment Tonight. She has released a comedy CD called "Acting Out With A.K.A. Angelique also co-wrote, produced, and starred in her own pilot featuring Eric Benet.
Angelique Bates is beyond a triple threat. This young lady is simply extraordinary. She acts, models, dances, choreographs, volunteers, donates to charity, manages her clients, raps and sings, does stand-up comedy, writes lyrics and scripts, practices martial arts, plays sports, produces, directs, and works behind the scenes.
