Angela Librandi

Over the last 17 years, Angela Librandi has established herself as one of the most versatile freelance singers in the Melbourne music scene. Originally from Adelaide she felt the move to Melbourne would inspire her musically as well as provide more opportunities.



Initially, she sang with various cover bands doing club gigs and then
extended her career into Television, as a Lead singer and Backing vocalist on almost every major show in the country including Hey Hey Its Saturday, IMT and Good Morning Australia.



Angela's first major tour was as a backing vocalist for Tina Arena, since then she has also worked with artists such as Thelma Houston, Ross Wilson, Vanessa Amorosi, Marcia Hines, Renee Geyer ,Anthony Callea,Hugh Jackman and Eric Benet.



Over the past 8 years, she has branched out into other areas of the music scene, performing at various Festivals and Dance Parties (Red Raw and Midsommer etc), playing everything from blues to house music with full production and dancers.



She has been working consistently in the corporate scene here in Melbourne, as well as interstate and overseas. Her work has taken her to places such as Hong Kong, Shang Hai, Tai Pei, Fiji, Borneo, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hawaii and Italy to name a few.



8 years ago Angela decided to form a four piece band, to play one night a week in an intimate venue, singing her version of songs, by artists who greatly inspire her (Jill Scott, Eryka Badu,Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder etc ). The band gained such popularity that it is now working up to four nights a week.



Currently, Angela is also working on her original project collaborating with various musicians.
