Andy Robbins

Professional bassist, songwriter and producer based in Brazil and the United States (Fort Lauderdale, FL). I was born and raised in Los Angeles and I got my start in the music industry in the LA - Hollywood club scene at the age of 16 when I co-founded the hard rock band Holy Soldier. Holy Soldier was together for 13 years and we recorded albums for A&M Records, Pony Canyon Records and EMI Records and toured globally during those years.
Today working as a session and touring bassist I have contributed bass and production work on albums, films, and countless tours. I have performed internationally for over 20 years with bands and projects featuring various members of Deep Purple, Rainbow, Gene Loves Jezebel, Accept, Tesla, Alice Cooper, Yngwie Malmsteen, Lita Ford, Trixter and more.
Since 2008 I have been working extensively with Joe Lynn Turner (former vocalist of Rainbow, Deep Purple, Yngwie Malmsteen) as his bassist and producer of his South American tours. In March of 2010 I had the pleasure of working with Doogie White (another great vocalist from Rainbow and Yngwie Malmsteen) as bassist for his tour. As well, I also produced a Brazilian tour and played bass for Gene Loves Jezebel and I produced a Brazilian tour for CJ Ramone (The Ramones).
Lately, I am continuing work on new original music - composing, collaborating and recording with various artists. I plan to release a new CD very soon when it is finished.
