I bought my first bass with money i earned from picking potatoes. dad made me an amp out of an old stereo. i started trying to figure out 'dr. feelgood' by motley crue. moved on to skid row, bon jovi.then discovered flea and put my glam rock ways to sleep unless i was trying to impress a girl. my after school routine was make a snack, watch yo! mtv raps, and then play bass all night. i played alot in church, barns, basements, garages, and at school. i graduated high school with some theory, good ears, and 6 albums worth of chilli peppers basslines in my head, and went to college in illinois. i majored in contemporary christian musicstrange, i know. dropped out after a year and lived in nashville, TN for a few years before returning to maine and enrolling in the University of Southern maine. i stuck it out there and got a degree in jazz performance. i played gigs(jason spooner, portland jazz orchestra, curtis clarck, tom whitehead, etc) and taught lessons(Tony Boffa School of Contemporary Music) in the southern Maine area until the beginning of october, when i moved to Mexico. that pretty much brings you up to date.
