Anacrusis Started in May of 2002 and have been composing and performing ever since.



Their style of music consists of blends from rock,jazz,techno,drum and bass,latin fushion and classical,placing them in a world of fushion/abstract/expeirimental and art-house sound.



The band Members are:Aaron Frahill(18),a bass player amongst many in his musical and artistic family,self-taught and offers many different attributes to the band,such as time signetures and sound arrangement.



Diego Joaquim Ramirez(16),started playing drums at the age of 3 and by the age of 4 he was playing in night clubs with his fathers latin band.Diego comes from a very musical and artistic family and has studied many concepts of music and art,he studied percussion,classical piano,and composition in the cork school of music and studied jazz at Berklee college in Italy in the summer of 2005.Diego is responsible for rhythm,time signetures,and song arrangement and offers many versitile elements to the band.



Liam Christopher Anthony O Connor Golding(17),A self-taught Stringmaster,and main melody writer in the band,Liam Sits in his room and writes music all day long.

He is thought to be a very unique and an intricit musician,and his natural understanding of harmony and melodic composition surprises many listeners,he has been playing 9 years and has no musicial family background whatsoever



Some of their influences include:Miles Davis,yann tiersen,king crimson,incubus,james brown,unkle,squarepusher,aphex twin,dj shadow,dj Krush,Keith Jarrett,Chick Corea,Mars Volta,Planet X,Jimi Hendrix.etc.



They have expeirimented with many composing techniques,such as scoring and complete improvistation.They believe that a band is not worth paying attention to if they cannot make the music flow.This has caused them to spend the most time on song arrangement.They have a quite keen interest in film music and this can be relised when listening to their music.They believe that imagery and melodic emotion can be used as a substitute for vocals.This Drives them to write their songs around their own experiences or storys to create pictures and storylines withing their music
