Accompanied by 5 amazing musicians, together they put on a high energy Funk/R&B blend, playing all of Amy's original songs. Amy's gift for writing and capturing raw emotion really shows in her new album; writing and singing all of the lyrics, melodies and harmonies, "It feels like heaven when you hit that perfect note". Amy is a classically trained vocalist, with a soul/pop influence. She trained in New York at the Broadway School of Dance, with Cirque Du Soliel in Montreal, and with The Young Canadians in Calgary where she performed for more then 30,000 people every night at the Calgary Stampede for 10 years.

Amy got her first break at 18, Amy was asked to be the opening act for internationally known Ashanti, Eve, 112 and Blu Cantrell. Amy was singing at church as the soloist every sunday, she was recording jingles during the week, as well as recording session work for herself and other artists, she performed at a very prestigious charity ball for MS, and she was performing on the weekend with her Motown/R&B band (for 4 years).

Now residing in Toronto, Amy is gigging with her new band, networking and getting her name known.You will definitely hear and see more from Amy Lee Owens.
