!!!THIS IS UNHOLY AMON FAN SPACE!!! AMON are the true Swiss Satanic black metal pioneers!

AMON was founded in 1991 by Dan B. Zahed (Guitars), Dorian Nellen (Vocals and Bass) and Reto Macek (Drums). Reto Macek left the band in the same year and the new drummer Pete Schuler (Ex Messiah) joined forces with AMON. This line up recorded the MCD "The Shining Trapezohedron" which was released in spring 1993 as a self produced record. Dorian Nellen left the band in summer 1993.

In autumn 1993 Satorius (Bass) and Reto Jger (Vocals and Guitars) joined AMON. In the spring of 1994, AMON played in the new line up (Reto Jger: Guitars and Vocals, Dan B. Zahed: Guitars, Pete Schuler: Drums and Satorius: Bass) together with SAMAEL at an international happening about Satanism in Zurich (with J. Dvorak, Prof. Ngeli, H.R. Giger), their first concert.

In the summer of 1995, AMON recorded the "Shemhamforash" CD. "Shemhamforash" was released in 1996 on Witchhunt Records.

In autumn, 1995, Dan B. Zahed and Satorius filmed the TV documentation "Satanic Creeds" for the Swiss television SF1 with German director Matt Vain. "Satanic Creeds" has also been transmitted on 3Sat and RAI. In Schaffhausen at the fortress Munot, the group filmed a video clip (also with director Matt Vain) of the song "Eternal Darkness and Winter Storms" from the SHEMHAMFORASH album. Reto Jger left AMON in december 1995. AMON have never found an equivalent guitarist for him. So this was the beginning of the end. The new vocalist Lothar has recorded the vocals on „Shemhamforash“.

Satorius (guitarist, bassist and vocalist of MOUNTAIN KING and founder and prior of the BLACK ORDER OF LUCIFER) was responsible for the Satanic concept and the spectacular show effects of AMON. AMON played several concerts with SAMAEL, DEICIDE, CRADLE OF FILTH, LUCIFERION, ANCIENT RITES and other known acts. Satorius had its last gig with AMON in summer 1996 at the now legendary Black Metal Open Air in Medewitz. This was the first concert of Lothar as the new vocalist of AMON.

Satorius left AMON in autumn 1996. In 1997 Ex Messiah bassist Patrick Hersche has joined AMON. But the real AMON (and all the satanic show elements) are gone. In 1998 AMON was buried alive.
