Amöba playing "Med korset i din hand" @ Punkfest 10 (October 2008)

---------------------------------------

August 2005 - Amöba is formed by Elefinken and Mange. Patrik is later recruited as a bass player and John as a drummer.

November 2005 - The first reherseal takes place in Malå.

March 2006 - The first gig takes place in Arvidsjaur.

June 2006 (060606) - Our first demo "Gnäll" is released.

Autumn 2006 - Our second demo "Malå i ruiner" is released.

May 2007 - We record twelve songs at Parast Studio and Patrik leaves the band. Elefinken doesn't want to play the guitar any moore.

July 2007 - We do a very chaotic gig in Umeå with Björn 47 on bass and Potin on vocals, since Mange is somewhere else doing something completely different.

September 2007 - Ville becomes the new bass player and David the new guitarist. Elefinken and Mange handle the vocal duties, and John is still the drummer.

November 2007 - The first reherseal with the new line-up takes place in Umeå (but without Mange).

December 2007 - Mange leaves Amöba.

March 2008 - Our debute EP, called "En döende värld", is finally released (by Hardware Records). For six days we tour Sweden together with Kommunen.

November 2008 - The first gig outside of Sweden takes place in Finland. Anton handles the guitar during the gig, since David is somewhere else doing something completely different. We record new songs.

March 2009 We tour Europe for 17 days with Avskyvärld and paly shows in Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Austria and Czech Republic. Hardware Records release our second EP for the tour.

May 2009 David decides to quit the band for various reasons and is now only seen in Painkiller. His replacement is Hacken from Luleå raw punk all-stars Kranium.
