Amido Black formed in the summer of 2005 starting with Gordon on guitar, Hopkins on bass, and Burton on vox. Soon after the addition of Egner on drums and Clint on guitar, the foundation was laid for the creative process. Over the next year, Amido Black wrote, and formulated thier own niche, and style. By thier first show they already had thier first ep recorded and ready to distribute. Given that each member puts the live show above all else and the content and precision of each song not all sounding the same but unmistakeable allowed them to gain noteriety very quickly. Being a DIY band Amido Black has recorded and produced 3 more ep's over the following 4 years by themselves aside from mastering. Hopkins, with the blessing of the band and due to unforseen circumstances had to relocate, yet miraculously Dave, a long time friend who could not be a much better fit was availiable to fill the void. And so another chapter opens for Amido Black, enjoy the read.
