American Halo, an all girl trio, is a smoldering jolt of alternative and pop rock roots. Manufactured in New Jersey in 2006, the vixens of American Halo include Cailyn Mobus, 19, on bass/vocals, Deanna Massey, 21, on guitar/vocals, and Nicole Tegge, 22, on drums/vocals. Their toxic lyrics, captivating 3-part harmonies, & vogue look are unrestrained in their seductive live performances.

American Halo’s accomplishments are impressive with numerous main support & opening slots for an inspiring roster of national acts. They achieved many feats within their first year as a band. The band’s first two shows, in March 2006, were for Seventeen Magazine who contacted them to perform at a fashion show event in New Jersey and Delaware. The popular female magazine advertised with “Rock out to a live performance by your favorite hometown band, American Halo,” (Seventeen Magazine March 2006) on the trendy radio station, Z100 in New York City! In the fall of 2006 American Halo’s picture received airtime on The Game Show Network’s “PlayMania” during the email segment of the show (Sept. 14, 2006 episode). The band entertains airwaves on college radio stations such as WNRC 97.5 and was even a nominee of the “Top 25 New and Upcoming Songs of 2006” with their song ‘Not Reality.’ Shortly after, one of the leading music industry publications, Billboard Magazine mentioned American Halo in the October 21, 2006 issue and then did a follow up article in the January 20, 2007 issue that pictured the band and quoted the original bassist. In January 2007, American Halo ranked in position one in the first round of the Emergenza Festival and the band quickly became a featured artist at Ubl.com for their song ‘Accept It.’ In July 2008, American Halo released their self-produced, debut EP, Chasers & sold out of inventory within three months of the release date. The band also participated in the 15th annual Dunesday festival & shared the stage with national acts, Drama Rama & Laura Warshauer. In August 2008, the band was contacted by PRQueen Filmworks & participated in a music video shoot for an up & coming reality TV show on Nickelodeon. The band also entertained audiences at the Masquerade Tour by East Coast Independent in fall of 2008.

Currently, American Halo is writing new material for their full length album & is infecting audiences, with their unrefined, alluring attitude as they dominate the airwaves.
