Roman Da Ruler is a new type of emcee whose styles contrast from Redman to L.L. Cool J to 2 Pac. A modern example of a style similar to his includes Kanye West swagger and delivery. Competition is stiff in this game and in order to truely make an impact respect the grind. Roman attacked the game hard with his music industry contacts, music business degree knowledge and overall incredible talent. His love for different genres such as Soul, Jazz and Rock music makes him an overall threat to this music industry. Appearances include Urban Threshold Talent Show, M.O.N.Y. showcases and freestyles with other underground MC'S such as N.E.M. , E6 & Gone Johnson. Going into studio sessions with Diddy/Loon at the age of 17 yrs. was just the start for this overall dynamic emcee. Listening to advice and beats from Immortal Technique/Southpaw on the come up, plus seeing friend Doobie become a successful Czar Ent. During his 3 year tenure at Daddy's House Recording Studio he listened to the advice of Heavy D "Ambition should be a lifestyle" and

Ambition Enterprises became a reality, which is now an official record company. Freestyle sessions with Magic/T.N.M. & Verse (Hoodfellaz) helped fine tune this Hip-Hop/Soul monster, while still attending college for a Music Business degree (2005). After experience of working for Bad Boy and Czar Entertainment, Rome went the independent route and pursued the business/music side of the game. From poverty to paradise it is certain that Roman is a rare MC from obtaining his Master's Degree to gaining local buzz from his incredible performances.
